LAS is seeking an experienced
inventory control & warehouse specialist. This position is a good fit
for someone with computer inventory experience and general warehouse
experience, along with basic automotive knowledge. Experience in the
Auto Salvage industry is NOT REQUIRED
as we would prefer to train someone with the right background how to
inventory automobiles & parts properly, as well as how to manage our
warehouse space to LAS specifications.
As an inventory control & warehouse
specialist , your responsibilities and skill set should include;
Prior experience in computer inventory
management (in any industry).
Prior experience in warehouse
management.
Forklift experience is a must, and a
valid forklift license is preferred.
Ability to operate heavy equipment,
such a wheel loader, is a big plus (but not required)
A valid drivers license is required.
Knowledge of Windows XP is required.
Attention to detail and a knack for
research is essential.
Ability to accurately file paperwork
and records is essential.
Exceptional organization skills along
with the ability to plan and think ahead for future warehouse growth
is essential.
Ability to design, build, and assemble
racks & warehouse shelving is a huge plus.... carpentry skills would
help in this area tremendously.
Good "house keeping" skills.
Ability to lift 50 lbs +
Able to work outdoors in all seasons.
Ability to work with little or no
supervision and the ability to take charge of all inventory and
warehouse functions is mandatory.
Able to work weekends when required
(Position is primarily Monday - Friday, 8-5).
This is a high level, essential, and
complex position with our company. You will be the sole person in charge
of ALL inventory and warehouse functions. You will also possesses
limited managerial and decision making authority over shop & delivery
personnel in regards to processes, procedures, and other maters that
fall under the scope of inventory & warehouse management. You will
report directly to the owner of the company, and will be given the
opportunity to attended confidential meetings & growth planning
sessions.

LAS
is seeking an experienced delivery driver / shop helper to join our team.
As
a delivery driver and general shop helper, your responsibilities will
include;
Deliver parts to our commercial
customers in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
Interaction with customers on a daily
basis and ensuring their needs are met.
Loading & unloading delivery trucks
General shop help, which includes but is
not limited to; assist dismantlers in pulling parts, breaking down
tires, assisting with inventory and returns, and general shop and
warehousing duties as determined by the supervisor or manager.
Any
other related duties as directed by the General Manager.
Successful
candidates will posses the following attributes;
A clean 10-year driving record (must
provide copy from DMV)
Verifiable previous experience as a
delivery driver.
Able to drive 1-ton trucks with manual
transmission.
Forklift experience is highly
desirable, however we will train.
Able to read maps and able to navigate
with a GPS.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Previous automotive and/or warehouse
experience is helpful but not required.
This position is being offered as a
"full-time" position.
Compensation package is flexible and will be based on experience &
performance.
